Default GTech

Have any of you guys ever used one these GTech gauges. They measure HP, TQ, quarter mile time and a whole lot more. I was just curious if it worked like advertised, and how easy it was to use.

I have a Vector fx2 from Beltronics and it does almost the same.. it work really good and the numbers it gives you make a lot of sence.. actually Car&driver uses this accelerometer to get all the number you see when they test cars...

If you have one, I wouldn't brag about the times it shows. They could be on the $ or way off.

I have the G-TECH PRO and its very accurate ive yet to run it in the stang but every other car ive ran it in is dead on with the times according to stock.

I like it alot but its the better one and has all the bells and whistles.I would reccomend it to you.Its easy to use and has ****loads of features and things you can test and run on there. Not to mention it hooks to the computer and makes it even more fun.The thing is no bigger actually less than the size of a pack of smokes. It is very small but the things it can do are very cool.I got mine out of summit for like 250-275 with shipping i had it sent over night though so may be cheaper.

Go ahead and get it if you are considering it.I promise you will like it.Just make sure the info you enter in is correct or it will give false readings.

Its been dead on with my EXP,camaro, and a buddies cutlas.

It really needs to be dead on with the weight. To be accurate.Even 100 pounds will severely throw it off.

The older ones were accurate but not consistent/calibrated. Like my friends would use it in their cars and one time they would get wahtever numbers and anotehr time they'd get different ones, but the margin between them would stay the same. The newer ones have gotten a lot better from what I've read and what GMKiller said.
