Default What next?

I just ordered some 4.10s and am about to place my order for a c&l 85maf and inlet tube, and 75tb with intake plenum. I have Magna x and catback.

What should I do next? I don't want N20 and I can't afford to build my engine and get it blown yet because i am in college. So where should I head next? I was thinking either get some suspension work or get a brake upgrade. I hear shorties for my car right now aren't worth the money because it isn't making much power. What do you guys suggest?

Would I need a special X pipe to fit long tubes?

don't know how well that would work since I doubt the angles of a regular sized mid-pipe and that of the long tubes would line up. It would be a pretty big ghetto rig if you did it.

Bye Bye cats....yes.

Very expensive job when you have them installed. If you want to keep the price low, I'd advise against it. Do the suspension next, Good springs, shocks and struts. Will help your handling.

Thanks. I was not really considering cutting up my mid pipe and I;d rather not purchase a new one quite yet so I will let the headers wait and see what I want to do later but thanks for the suggestions guys.

Tokico 5-way Adjustable Shocks & Struts and steeda springs is what I was looking at. As well as Caster/Camber Plates and a strut tower brace.

I was also looking at either a cobra brake upgrade or 13" brembo brakes

Best performance money wise the LTs are going to win......Hard to put in? Yeah they aren't easy but you won't ever go back to shorties or stock (At least not by choice)...
