i am running Kumho Ecsta 245/50/16 on ponies and it is a challenge to get those bitches to spin out, but we shall see once the 3.73 is in,,i mayhange my tune

 

bfgoodrich drag radials or comp T/A's, there both the ****, sticky as hell

 

I had the BF's and unless you're only pushing them with a stock motor you'll spinn through them... (unless they're 12" wide)

the nitto's stick WAY better in the corners... seriously, read magazine write up's on them, they are great tires!

 

read magazine write ups on them? how bout trying them on the street for themselves, mags are usually all about the money when it comes to whats better. i agree the comp t/a will spin, but its a true street tire, damn good one, but the drag radial will hook um up fine. have a friend pulling 1.60 60' times with the drag radials and a 5 speed

 

Nitto 555 by far the best tire, and very comparable to the very expensive ones in performance for only about $119 a tire 245/45/17's
