Default 302 Stroker kit

I am at crossroads and I need some advice.... I am looking at stroker kits for my new motor and there are so many choices. Being that I have never bought a stroker kit, anyone have any experience with them? I was looking at the dss 331. The car will have a power adder so keep that in mind.

I dont have any input on the boosting but i run an Eagle 331 kit complete rotating assembly pistons, rods, crank and i love it!

Ive heard good and bad about all but mostly about "PROBE" and "DSS" but ive not had any bad luck with my 331 its great!

Boosting in my opinion would all be left up to the heads.Theyre what determines the flow and compression ratios for the most part.So i would look into a good breathing set of heads and maybe not even stroke if you are on a budget.

If not and a stroker is what your hearts set on get a 331 and bore it 60 over it makes what MM&FF called the "342 ski doo".

A 347 is nothing but a 342 stroker with a 30 over bore job.But you run into all kinds of issues and problems with a 347.I just met a guy today while cruising who was asking about my car and said he had a 347 he wanted me to look at and it didnt make it 20,000 miles he said and **** started to go seriously wrong. But without tearing into it it could have been the builder. So you know how that goes any time something goes wrong most guys are like it must be parts and never factor in the builders skills or experience.

I vote for a 331.
