Just because your sparkplugs smell like gas dosn't mean you are getting it... Check with a fuel pressure gauge or pull a fuel line and turn the key on too see if you are getting fuel... Good luck...

no they don't just smell like gas they have gas on them. and its fuel injected. I can hear the fuel pump and all that. I'm thinking that maybe my timing belt jumped or something and it isn't sparking at the right time. I have tried spraying some carb starter in it and doesn't even want to start up with that.

ok well the vehicale still isn't starting. Its getting spark, the fuel gauge says i'm getting fuel and i can hear the pump turn on, its getting air, anc its cranking over. I need some help because i don't know whats going on here. I'm lost because its getting the three essential things an engine needs.

What color is the spark? If it's yellow, it's not powerful enough.

EDIT
If it's yellow, look at the module attached to your distributor.

Finally at the end of all this reading I see mention of the spark strength. It needs to be a "cracking" blue. Could be a weak or hosed coil. Especially if it cranks, has gas, has spark (although it may be weak) and, it happened all of a sudden. Instant problems like that are usually electrical. Also, I see you said, cap, rotor, and spark, but not coil. You may need to pull the number 1 plug and line up the rotor with the cap to see if it has jumped time. The coil is my guess though.

it does actually look to be somewhat yellow or white and the spark is weak, so i looked and i think i'm just going to go and buy the ignition module a.ka tfi module. Its $35 up at the store so i might as well.

My bet is that is the critter causing the problem then.

well I change the ignition module and it still doesn't start up so i'm going to change the coil out and see if that works.

You do know that most big auto parts stores will test your coil, TFI, ALT, Battery, all for free right? Just take them in, and have them checked out.
