Ok I have a 2001 Mustang V6. It has the Mach audio system w/o subs. I took out the mac 6 disc cd player and put in my clarion VRX-935VD dvd/cd player w/ full equalizer. The sound was amazing with the stock deck but now that I put this deck I have NO bass what so ever and the sound is so badd. Even on the equalizer settings when i change frequency and q of the mids, bass, treble it still sounds like trash and there is no bass? Is this operator error or is something wrong? HELP PLEASE!!

when you install an aftermarket system you need to rewire it and only 4 of your 8 speakers will work, you must bypass the factory amp

 

How do I bypass the factory amp? Just curious because I have no clue? I never had to in my contour svt :-/

 

you need to go to best buy and get the kit, basically it turns it into a crappy 4 speaker sounding like crap stock system and you will need to gut it and start over

 

you can wire in all 8 speakers, you just have to splice a wire off of the wires goin to the main speakers then put bass blockers on thr wires going to the tweeters

 

So its honestly almost not worth putting in an aftermarket deck? I am just wondering because I want good sound and dont want to put all alpine in this car right now?

 

I am just confused but need to make sure i can make these speakers work well with my aftermarket deck? This is confusing w/ this amp stuff because i have only amped subs not speakers in doors and reardecks so I have to rewire the speakers alltogether or from the harness?
