Default remote thingy costs $85.00 through ford

Turns out if its not the little battery that died or its unable to be reprogramed you have to purchase a new one (because something probably is wrong with the sensors, inside... and i might add that (you may be in luck if its still under warrenty but if you are 100 miles over your warrenty you LOSE.....[sm=smiley21.gif][sm=smiley21.gif]

Something like this was posted on a Ford Truck forum. The advice was to buy a set of keys off EBay and program them to your car while you still have the two original ones. The instructions are out on the web somewhere but you need at least two keys to do it.
