Default power seat blowing fuses

94 mustang gt power seat.
The power seat will work fine for a while then blow a fuse.
I took seat out of vehicle and everything moves freely.
How do I check the motors?
Where is good place to get replacement motors?

thanks

Dude is your car falling apart??? Have you checked to see if there is anything else on the seat circuit? Maybe it's not the seat. Or does the fuse blow as you're moving the seat? Check to see that the power feed wire isn't touching anything( like rubbed through anywhere.)

I would like to think the car is mostly together.
Just bought the car and it was in need of few fixes. Price was right and overall condition was great (3-issues so far)
I am sure there will be more to come.

The seat only blows a fuse when you move the switch. It is working well now, but since I did not find the source of the issue I am betting that it will show up again. Wiring looks good.

Does it happen going a certain direction. You know, forward, back, up down, tilt front, back. Try to notice. That would help to narrow it down.

It has only happen twice.
1st time was blown before car was purchased
2nd time was after dissassembly and was testing the unit.
I grabbed the lever and it blow. I think it was moving the seat backwards.
I have operated the seat a dozen times since with no issues.

Maybe it was afluke or you touched something you shouldn't have while testing it.
