I just bought a new 2006 V-6 coupe with manual trans and the pony package. My car has the Shaker 500 stereo and it has a aux button on it.I asked the salesman where I bought it what that was for? He said I could play a portible MP3 player throgh it,but he was'nt sure where the hookup was. Does anyone know if this is correct? And if it is where I can hook up an MP3 player?If not what is it for? Thanks!

 

there should either b a single jack in the front for a cord that u will have to buy or it is in the back of the deck and it needs to plug into the aux jacks not 100% sure on ur car tho

 

like he said, there's either a set of aux cable jacks (red/white) mounted on the back of the head unit, or there's a usb port mounted on the face plate.
