Back window blew out
Has anyone ever heard of the back windshield blowing out on a 2005 GT convertible when putting the top down? Nothing was in the well, just put the top down heard a pop brought the top back up and the window was blown out. I took it to the dealer and they said they never heard of it happening, I took it to the body shop and they said it happened to one on the show room floor of the dealer I got it from. Has anyone seen this happen before, I have to replace the whole top and I really don't want this to happen again since ford is not standing behind their car. Don't get me wrong I love the car and I am a ford guy, I am just a little disappointed.

The dealer told me I was lying that it has never happened before and I can't tell them who told me it happened on the show room floor because that is who does all of their body work.

**** that dealer, they have to replace it. it is their burden to prove it broke because of you, not the other way around.

THIS IS VERY TRUE
i HATE it that dealers switch this around, just go to the dealership and quote a law or two and sound angry
they will b like, "oH **** this guy isnt a 100% idiot like we assume EVERY1 is, take care of him!"
It does not matter if it happened to someone else. Your new car broke while under the factory warranty. Take it to another dealer tell them your window popped out while putting your top down and nothing else. Don't tell them anything else because they will try to get out of the repairs if you tell them something to suspect that you did something wrong. I don"t understand why you are calling around to dealers finding out if happened before. Is there something you are not telling us?

OK sorry misunderstood your post. Why does the dealer think you are lying about your top? You should be able to take your car into any Ford dealer in America and have your car fixed I don't see why they are telling you to take it back to where you bought it to have it fixed.
