How do I know if my car is 4.6 or 5.0? (By the way - I'm sure this is a silly question, but I"m sorry

I really don't know)

You have a 4.6 These are in 96+ GT models.

You can lift up your hood and there should be a number on top of your radiator or radiator fan. It should say either 5.0L or 4.6L or 3.8L. That will tell you what you have on your car.
