Default tire recommendations?

Anybody have any tire recommendations for street use? I'm looking for very good dry traction esp for hard cornering, good wet traction, decent tread life, and of course, something that looks good/agressive. I need 245/45 17's.

currently have the BFG Comp TA's.

im gonna go check out some nitto's tomorrow.

i would like to keep the total cost around $500 give or take.

thanks,
matt

You`ll never get a good set of tires for $500.
I have Goodyear eagle F1-GS D3`s on my car and they are awesome tires. I highly recommend them.
Check em out at www.discountdirect.com

I got a set of Yokohama AVS ES100s on mine, IMO they're a pretty good street tire. Summit carries them www.summitracing.com for the size you want I think it's about 120 bux a pop.
