hey would i be able to take a 140 speedometer out of a 90 cluster and put it in an 87 cluster? the 87 has an 85mph gauge and i want the 140, but i know that in 90 the wiring in the cluster as a whole is different than in an 87. so will that work?

 

The speedos are gear driven, as long as those years have the same gear I'd say there shouldn't be any reason not to work. Also obviously as long as they're the same size and everything.
