Default Tint question

So I want to tint my 06 G/T. I've heard rumors that you're not supposed to roll down your windows for a couple of days after a tint install. Is there any truth to this? If so, what about the windows jumping down a little when the doors are opened?

The tint needs to cure for 2 days max. The tint will cure faster if the car is parked in full sunlight.

Yes it is true. They say 2-3 days, but if you park your car in direct sunlight is will cut the drying time by a lot. Hopefully the small jump it does when opening the door wont effect it.

I am ceritfied to tint windows. YOu do have to give it some drying time like 2-3 days.. Even if you are direct sun it is better to wait a couple of days, becuase when you roll them down, even if they are dry, there are still air pockets where the water has dryed. With more heat on it these air bubbles will expand more rapidly, but they still have to migrate out, so if you roll your window down, it just moves them back up slowing the whole process. You won't be able to see em real goos. but a few months later, you'll start getting little faded dots in your windows. So head my advice wait a couple of days. I tinted my windows myself and they look awesome!!
