sn95 slick sizes
I posted this in the 4.6 section also......
sorry if this has been posted here already, but I am getting ready to hit the strip for the first time this year and I am wondering If a 10 or 9.5" slick from my brothers Fox body mustang 82', will fit my sn95 97' mustang. I know that they barely squezze in the wheel wells, especially the top lip. I didnt know if the wheel wells on the newer ones are bigger or anything. Hopefully I am posting this in the right section.

RE: sn95 slick sizes
only way to really check is to pull one off his car and put it on yours and see how it fits, a 26" tall slick should fit OK, but a 28" one might be a tight fit. the backspacing on the wheel will also determine how much side to side clearance it has too, so make sure to look underneath and see how close the sidewalls are to the inner fender and outer fender lip too. sometimes you can use a big hammer on the inside to gain some room but I don't think you want to bang on the outer fender! RE: sn95 slick sizes
The 1st thing I think of is your brother's Fox has 4 lug wheels (unless the axles have been changed), and your's has 5 lug wheels.
So unless you get some 15", 5 lugs wheels, I say they ain't gonna fit [sm=smiley6.gif]
