no knocking at all it runs smooth but after about 15 minutes it doesnt want to idle and it runs sluggesh would a sensor cause that because i have one that isnt hooked up with the right kind of wires

What sensor is it? It may very well be a sensor..... Is it the CMP? It could be PCM also

What code are you getting when the check engine light comes on? This is a no brainer if you know that.

its reading ignition coil a primary/secondary circuit malfunction. po351 does that help cause i dont know what the hell it means

That code is a Ignition coil primary circuit fault

Do a test on your coil.. You can do that by using a spark tester
It might also be dirty, check it out... When you test it and theres no spark then its ok...
if the coil wires do have a spark and the resistance is over 7000 ohms p f its bad needs replacing.....

ok i checked the coils and there was no spark from the coil on the driver side. So does this mean that just the coil is bad or is there something else i should check?

I would start with the coil. They're not amazingly expensive. Give that a shot and see what happens.

That usually means the passenger side is bad. The way it's running you could have the timing WAY off too.

Well buddy if there was no spark... the coil should still be good....

But if thats the code that you are being given, try cleaning it or replacing it and see what happens..

mello.....are you sure....i thought it was the other way around......but anyways one of the coils is bad no matter what.....cuz one sparks and the other dosent.
