Default Heater / AC blower wiring

Got an 88 GT. The blower quit working. I checked the fuse, it is fine. I metered the fuse slot and get nothing (regardless if the AC is switched on or not) The compressor kicks on thou. The chilton's book has nothing on this. It just tells you that the AC needs to be serviced by a EPA certified tech. Where is some good free info on the electrical? Or any other suggestions to my problem?

Yes - I checked both sides of the cavity. I temporarily jumped from a 12VDC source to one side of the fuse cavity slated for the blower and the A/C works (I live in Phoenix) The wire feeding the blower fuse maybe has an in line fuse?, shorted?, cut? Anyone know where this is being fed from?

Is it possible the blower itself stopped working(KAPUT).I did a lot of HVAC service when I worked in a bodyshop. The Diodes with in the system that regulates blower speeds may have shorted out. That would not affect your A/c compressor,necessarily...If you are putting a 12volt current to the blower and it works then the issue is in the Fan speed controls.(the Diodes). If the live current(12volt)directly to the fan fails to make the fan operate then replace the blower / fan. However,Make sure it is grounded properlyfirst..If this dosen't work either way you may have to bring it in
