Okay, I have heard different definitions for the term "drone" when it comes to exhaust. Can someone clarify this for me so I can correct whoever is doing the misinformation drills over here. thanks!

IE at around 1900rpm Flowmaster 40 series mufflers produce a very loud interior bass resonance, and when cruising at that RPM you get a "drone"

thats for sure, i cant wait to switch now... On the highway I have to either cruise at like 55 or 70 to get away from the drone, but even then its still very loud inside the car, just the bass isnt beating your head. I'm prolly goin w/ the 50 series Flows...

Yup. Drone is just the name for the constant tone made by the exhaust when you are at a cruising speed at or over 1900. If it gets too annoying (which it will!) turn up the music(unless you have some super insane drone) or drive slower.
