Default tinting tails

Anyone try tinting their tail lights with translucent black paint? I want to black out the stang but if I can get away with just spray tinting them ide rather do that than buy the tinted ones that are grayish anyways.

search around for some stuff called Niteshades. Its specifically designed to tint tailights and headlights and you spray it on like spray paint.

I ended up using a tint spray like you said. Worked great, painted the tails, 3rd brake light and those little reflectors on the side of the rear bumper. Looks so sick, will post pics soon.
