Default rebuilding a trans

Does anyone know where I can get reliable info on how to rebuild a C6 trans. I have no knowledge or experience in this field. I also want to add a stall converter I will be getting from a friend and a stage 2 shift kit. I'm also kind of shy on cash like a lot of people right now so I'm looking for a cheap way to get my Stang back on the road....

Thanks All

It's probably not what you want to hear...... But i too wanted to learn how to build an automatic on my own. I ended up taking a auto transmission building course at the local votech. It was one night a week for 3-4 hours & about 2 months time. Cost was minimal; like 2-3 hundred bucks. Durring the latter part of the course; I brought in a core C4 to build at the facility; saving me the trouble of not having a press & buying specialty tools..... I only had to buy the rebuild kit for $40 & bearing kit for $20 from the local parts store.......IMHO
