Yea, they're loud? I'll have to ask my dad when I go over there today cause I know he put one on his 85 he used to have. I don't remember anything, did you have one on yours bmorris?
misread, thought you were talking about a belt driven flexalite....but..... with a 3core copper raddy, an adjustable puller elec. fan would be a good combo....

Some car computers automatically kick-off the fan when going over 50 MPH... Stock programming thinks the wind will cool off the engine when in fact you have a huge aftermarket fan blocking the air flow.

Check into an SLP manual fan switch.

Don't know about new cars but on mine there is no connection between the engine and the fan. I know flex-a-lite also makes a nicer fan clutch, that might be worth going with as well.
