Question about returning a car.
I hope this is the right forum. My mom bought a Chrysler 300c yesterday and after paying for it, she and my dad found on 2 different occassions that as the car slowed down after a quick acceleration (not hammering it but giving it a good amount of gas) the car shook like the brakes were closing. And when they were in first gear without applying the brakes the car would not move like the brakes were keeping it from moving.
The dealer couldn't find anything wrong, and my parents to the car. Does anyone here have experience in returning a brand new car? If the dealer lets you return it (I believe we have a 72 hour return law in iowa) what do my parents owe the lender of the loan if the car is returned?
Just curious, I've looked all over, I even used my good friend mr. google.

The car has traction/stability control. If your folks want to turn it off there is a button in the car (to turn it off). You have to do it each time you start the car.It helps to keep the car from wiping out if the computer&ABS sensors detect the car
having too much (YAW & generally accelerating quickly/and or sideways), fun!!! Believe me , it is functioning normally.Leave it on for everyday driving, but Turn it off,if you want to see burnt rubber.
Read about it in the owners manual.

Well we took it back to the dealer and the sales manager agreed to replace it with an identical car from another dealer. The dealership was great and right away offered to trade the vehicle for one just like it. Definitely a great place to buy a car.
