Just bought new headlights recently and put them in.
Got em nice n straight looking now, but got something screwed up I think.

When it rains the driver side always fills with water now...
how in the hell is this one happening and how do i fix?
i have it setup EXACTLY like the passenger side one.

 

The lenses arent cracked? Theirs also seals around where the replacements bulbs twist lock into place, make sure those are there and in good condition - or that you twisted them into place. That would be the only way water could get inside.

When their twisted in place its an enclosed space, theirs no other way for water to get in other than at the opening where you insert the bulb - or if the lense itself isnt sealed (like a crack). You may want to check again. You could always squirt water around the areas and see where its coming in.

or drill a small hole on the bottom of the lense....

 

Maybe they are liquid cooled? lol I drilled a hole in my pass side headlight. Works great.

 

A hole would probably work if you can't find why it's doing that. You could always pull it out and submerge it until just before the water could get into the bulb hole in the back and look for water coming in or turn it with that hole down and put it underwater completely and look for bubbles.

 

i drilled a hole on my winter beaters light, its all horridly yellow and horrible

dont really want that for my BRAND new lights that one seems to leak.

 

Try the sumbergence thing, if you find a little leak get some silicone and seal it.
