Default Satellite Antenna install

I have a 2004 GT convertible and I want to run a satellite antenna through the trunk and underneath the backseat. Do I need to remove the backseat? If so, how? Thanks for the help.

No, you dont need to remove the back seat....What i did was take off the panel between the trunk and back seat, thread the wire through. I took off that access panel above the rear speaker and grabbed the wire from the back, then threaded it down to the bottom of that panel. Ran under the kick plate/threshold to the front.

Thanks for the great tip. I did find another option that others might be interested in. You can take out the lower back seat cushion, put the convertible top down, open the trunk and you will see daylight on the right lower side of the rear trunk. It is easy to feed the antenna through. Taking out the lower cushion takes 30 seconds. Here's how:

A spring-loaded retainer holds the lower seat cushion. The cushion is released by locating the retainer that is approximately 10 inches from the edge of the cushion on either side. Take a flat screwdriver and push in retainer release button. The seat will pop up and be released.
