i just got magnaflow catted x pipe so now ill have magnas all the way back. my catback is awsome quality and it looks like it will last longer than the car .stainless slteel all the way. part shopper has a really good deal on the cat back and $130 of the catted x pipe. the coupon ends at the end of may witch is this month so if u want the good deal u better hurry. like i said i wont lie to u they are great quality and they sound great ill let u know how the new x pipe is when i throw that bad boy in this week . see ya

Good choice by sticking with all Magnaflow.

The argument with Shorties Vs Long tubes is a hard argument to pick a side to be on.

On our GT cars, most of us will never see upwards of 400hp. While we are under 400hp, the gains from shorties is equal to long tubes.

If you are like me and you are a budget modifier, only have a few bucks every couple months to throw at your car, shorties are the answer, equal performance with our lower hp numbers & the extra money can be used for another mod or two.

For GT owners, I'll say Shorties are the better buy for the $$.

I wanted the Bassani X and mid length headers with a magnaflow catback but I could not afford that so I went with a magnaflow catted X and magnapacks and will probally eventually get some shorties after I do some other work.

hey did your catted x trip your check engine light. cause if mine does im gonna be pissed. one of u guys said they do sometimes. thats why i went with the catted ones in the first place. ohh well

It shouldnt unless you had a bad o2 sensor or it was damaged when they stuck it back in. If you have a catted X pipe you will still be using O2 sensors and not mil eliminators. My light come on the night I had it all installed and I was a little upset. I took it back and it was just a broken wire on the mil eliminator. They fixed it for no charge and I've had no problems since.

cool to hear that. im gonna do the install myself i better be carefull removing the o2 sencers hee hee. hope i get it soon im soo siked im just sittin here waitin every day for my stuff. i keep ordering crap on fridays and i have to wait till the middle of the week to get it ahhhh i cant wait . thanks for the info
