Default Caster Camber plates will they help?????

I posted before i have 97 gt with matrix lowering springs in there. Im running the stock wheels and 245/45/17 rubber which is stock also. When i hit dips in the road or bumps my tire hits the wheel well on the driver side only. It hits the part where the wheel well is extended slitly for the fuse box. Will the caster camber plate fix this problem or is there somthing else wrong?

thats how all lowered cars are dude, caster/camber plates will help on tire wear, but lowering a car makes that way,,,you may want to raise it back up it you are hitting the wheel well because that is dangerous,,,

Sounds like you are too low. How low are you? Also the drivers side might be rubbing, because of your extra weight on that side. See how the car reacts w/ a person in your passenger seat. You might not rub at all or rub both sides. You should upgrade your caster / camber plates anyway, they really are a must for lowered stangs.

I'd def. have to agree,,,so how low are you man? my stangs lowered (bought it that way) wayy to much. its lowered so much that the shocks and struts are shot and my caster/camber plates need replacing too. So I am going to have to get new shocks, struts, and springs. Mine right now is lowered atleast 3"[:@] i got it because it was the best shape I have ever seen a 88 LX 5.0 (47,000 miles on it, never seen winters, stock so i could rebuild it and make it fast without worrying about the previous owner did to it.) So just some advice for you, stangs lowered 1.5", thats best height but you will need caster/camber plates. I think I'm going with Eibach Pro-kit springs, just to lower it 1.5" because thats the lowest I would go because lower than that you lose alot of ride quality and tire wear etc.

I would go with a coilovers on the front and the camber plates are manatory with the coilovers..the plate help like in road racing and drag racing the most and will help with outerside tire wear on larger than stock tires
