i have a 2000 mustang GT with a 5-speed, and the traction control will not shut off! what do i need to do get a new button ? or what

 

my issue is that the trac. control doesn't have a light to tell me off or on unless you stomp the gas and the little gage light turns on, and the car wont do a burnout, so i have been pushing the button as soon as i turn on the car and that has been working just fine up until today now no matter what i do the damn trac wont turn off i can shut off the car and start it up push the button and the damn still stays on, I need to figure this out, b/c i have new tires to put on, but these oldones need a good burnout to kill them off b4 the new ones get put on
