Default GT500 Hood

Yesterday I finally found a guy that can get me a genuine GT500 hood, NOT the CS6, the price is right, but the damn vents are over 300 bucks PER, i'd rather not pay for vents close to 4/5th the price of the whole hood. Anyone know of an alternative vent? I really want to get the hood, i can guarentee there won't be many peeps with this hood. (btw the ONLY reason i am getting this is because my hood got thrashed by a meager hail storm...KEEP THEM OUT OF HAIL, the hood is crap grade aluminum)

I would try buying the hood w/vents from a ford dealership.

i dont know if its the same guy but i remember a while back someone wanted one of those hoods and the vents are really expensive because they are "functional" vents and i think even if he bought the hood w/ them it would still cost a ton of money so thats why he is asking for some different ones. id say see if you can find some honeycomb stuff somewhere and make your own...its worth a try
