Default IRS & A/T

I want independent rear suspension for ideal handling (SVT) with an Auto tranny (N/A on SVT). What am I to do? Anyone ever see an A/T stuffed into an SVT? A manual is too much for the hills, extreme traffic & traffic controls around here.

On the other hand, anyone ever see the solid axle of a GT replaced by IRS? That is probably a lot less work vs. stuffing an auto into an SVT, but so much less hp.

most people replace their irs with a solid axle. the only place you will benefit with irs is in auto x. but if you have a mustang, chances are you arent doing to much auto x anyways
