I have a 1994 Mustang with 3.8 liter. I am looking for another trans for the car. What years of trans will interchange with this? I am unable to locate a used one in that year.

94-95 use the t-5. 96+ have the t45, which will not work.

 

If I understand right only the years of 94 and 95 will work? (either 8 or 6 cylinder) The earlier models like 90 to 93 will not work correct? I did read on borg warner website that they changed the length of the output shaft for 94 and 95.
ANy suggestions where I might be able to get one fairly cheap?

the 94-95 tranny's are the same on the v6 and v8 models. i would check the local junk yard
