I have a 1968 289 with JBA Headers and Dual flowmasters. What would be the best Carburetor to get for it. What would be best performance for my dollar? Also is there anything i could do to increase my throttle response?
long time ago i just ran a 600 holley double pumper,,but a holley 600 vac secondary felt quicker..cause secondarys came in just right holley 1850...got better gas mileage too with vac sec.,,,,22 compared to 16 on hwy,,,
a 600-650 vac holley..you can use a stub stack to increase cfm if needed also you can tailor the sec. to come in when you want with a spring change....there are aton of trick for those holleys
