an electric choke works on a thermostant with temperature, a manual is a cable with a **** that you can push or pull yourself to open and close the choke(butterfly)

Go with an electric choke and vacuum secondaries. 600 CFM should be fine.

I run a 600 cfm Double pumper , Vacuum Secondaries , Elec. Choke on my 302. Works awsome and I love the response . I would go with a 600cfm if I were you.

FYI - It's either a double pumper OR a vacuum secondary, not both.
