The water pump will turn easier to the tune of 5-10hp (maybe). Your alternator will turn harder to the tune of 7-13hp (based on your savings).
If the electric's running, the power is coming from your engine, just through a higher loss system (mechanical engergy to AC to DC). The advantage is that the electric is off sometimes and they generally have a better blade design that the original mechanical fans...
