Default What Electronic Ignition is best?

I picked up a 1966 289 2bbl on points right now. It needs an electronic ignition desperately. I see there are a few out there and not sure which one to go with.

The car is a driver, not a racer or show car. I'm more concerned about reliability and a smooth idle than performance.

MSD 6AL with the matching dizzy. It's worth the extra $ and can be upgraded as you change your mind. Your stock dizzy is most likely worn anyway.

You could also go for a 1 wire dizzy, like this. Still uses the external coil, but is not worn out like your stock dizzy.

on our 69 impala, we simply put an MSD MODULE on the stock ignition system, and it worked wonders. I would imagine a full MSD ignition would be pimp
