Car Radio LCD Display
Ok, I broke the LCD screen on my dad's car radio... *rolls eyes* I need to know if the LCD issue can be fixed without having to purchase a whole new radio.
And before I get any comments on how this issue came to pass, you would have done it too. I was listening to a brand new CD, and when I tried to skip to a certain number/song, the CD player cut off to AM/FM radio because of a "Read Error" or some **** like that. There's nothing wrong with the goddamn CD!!! [:@] Why does it do that to me!? It's not the first time, mind you.
*sighs* [&o] Anyway, if someone could give me an answer to the first question, I will be extremely greatful... Oh, on the upside..., CD player finally read the song... Heh...[>:]

Sooo...What kinda car you gonna be buying a new stereo for?
There would be no way to fix that. You might want to try a salvage yard, it would be alot cheaper than OEM...or aftermarket.

It's a 00' Ford Focus. The radio works fine and all that, but, ya know..., without the LCD..., it's kinda hard to know which station you're listenin' to...

Yeah, that the sorta thing you dont punch cause it can't be fixed. Now if you ad hit the dash...no worries
Your gonna need a replacement but like I said before, OEM parts from ford = $$$
Try aftermarket or a scrap yard.
