Default 289-302

I am currently putting a 302 in place of my 65 fastback's original 289 (it got tired). I am working on a dilema with the pulleys. The 289 has a 3-bolt crank pulley and the 302 a 4-bolt. So I'm forced to use the 302 pulley set up and am having trouble with alignment. The belt that runs the power steering is supposed to also run the water pump, with a seperate belt for the alternator. My problem is that my 65 has no power steering(nor do I want power-robbing power steering). I have to find a bracket setup for the alternator that puts it in position to align with the water pump and the center groove of the crank pulley. Any suggestions? Also, It occurs to me, presently, that there may be a balancing issue with using the 289 flywheel on the 302.

Pick up a set of single groove pulleys (crank and w/p). They are available, but not too common. Try March Performance, where you'll also be able to get them slightly underdriven.
