Default pony package

ok i know this is prolly a stupid question but still can you buy the pony package from the dealer and have it installed after the cars been shipped from factory or would you have to buy all the parts seperately?

Default RE: pony package

As far as I know, the pony package would have to be specified at the time of a new car order, or pick up a completed one off the lot. Since yours isnt a pony and you already have the spoiler, just go ahead and grab the decals, fog lights, and whatever other pieces came with it. (I'm assuming you have an 05 since spoilers were an option, other than the pony package). Go to the dealer you picked the car up from and ask them if they could install everything. But in the mean time, go online and see how much it would cost parts-wise to do it yourself and do whatever comes out cheapest. Dont forget to add in some $ for labor unless you know you can do it yourself.

Default RE: pony package

This package includes a special grille that incorporates a chrome bezel around the running horse, and Mustang GT like fog lights. Another interesting parts of this package are the 17" wheels/tires, pony front fender badges, providing Mustang V-6 customers a GT-inspired suspension, lower door tape stripe and carpeted front floor mats with special brushed chrome "Mustang" logos and a rear spoiler.

That is taken from 05+ pony package, although the new edge pony package (pretty sure only 02-04) is basically the same, as well with the same upgrade (actual wheel size varies). Same goes for the mid-late 60's cars.
