I find it safe no problem to speed as fast as the surrounding traffic. Or if I'm going down a highway & someone blows past me I let them get about 1/4 mile ahead & then go as fast as they are. I figure any cop will nab him before me

And hey if speeding wasn't fun we'd all be driving in Smart Cars

Also, ooften times traffic school is an option. Sometimes unadvertised. Possibly ask about it. Traffic school often times keeps the ticket off your record. This is a good option to use if it is avalible.

I have state farm and when I got my first ticket for spinning wheels which was 1 point my insurance went up $100 a month. Of coarse its come back down to what it was after a year but it really pissed me off when they did that.
Damn thats crazy! i got two ticks for speeding and all i did was go to the court. they asked me to pay half of the tick ( $85) and "promise" not to do it again with in the next 90 days or else i would get my liscence taken. btw my ins. is still $82( liability only)

He went to jail for driving while suspended not speeding. Here they wont put you in jail the first time caught driving while suspended because you may not have known. The first time they catch you and log your info you can believe you are going to jail the next time....No big deal, more of a hasstle than anything else. You get right out and can have someone go with you to get your car out and drive you and it home.

Not worth the hasstle though IMO.
