How many tickets can you get before your insurance rates go up or before your liscence is suspended or revoked?

I thought it worked by points, as in if you got more than 7? its suspended and anymore loose it for a year or something to that nature...not positive though.

in kansas i think its 4 and you get your license susspended for a year...no more speeding and it doest matter becuase you wont get a ticket
