My girl friends dad has been noticing a few times when Ive pulled up a very annoying noise which he thought was caused by low power steering, well we checked it and it was fine.....what else could be causing this?

P.S.
With the car turned on, in neutral just moving my steering wheel back and forth it would cause the noise badly.

 

This issue has plague a few mustang owners out there. Sems that it's rather common. Not really sure if they ever found a solution for it. Luckily it hasn't hit me yet.

 

Take it somewhere that flushes the system and have it done. It may cure the problem.
