RE: speaking of engines
you cant bore a 4.6 to a 5.7...you could stroke it, but not to a 5.7L. it would take a 5.4 navigator motor, that can be stroked to 6.0l+
but personally, ide take the modular over the ls6 anyday. they are both great motors, but the ohc is faster and higher reving...just check out the power curve of the cobra vs the z06...you will see what i mean. and parts, are also alot cheaper for the 4v than any ls6 or ls1

ok, i stand corrected. i didnt think about the sc in the cobra. it just skipped my mind i guess.
to be honest... i always wondered why chevy made a faster car the ford?
dont get me wrong, but why are mustangs so much more popular yet constantly lost to the cameros. i always wanted a camero, until i got my mustang. then i feel in love with my GT. but now im just curious why mustangs have such a huge following when there biggest competitors blow them away (from what ive seen anyway)?

because of the History of the mustang, People find the car they thought they'd never like and end up falling in love with it, much like you did.
I'd drive either or. if someone handed me the keys to a 5.0/4.6 GT or an LT1/LS1 Camaro, i'd drive em. I'd probably be on the internet the next day looking up parts for it too.

I'm not a fan of american cars, but there are some that seem to be done right. corvette, viper, mustang, crown vic, and full size trucks. I bought my 5.0 for the engine and tranny to swap into something else, but until I get the money to do that, it'll stay a mustang.

That's the most impressive rating from a factory four you can come up with?[8D] Hell the SVT focus has 170, so does the sentra SER-V. A friend was looking at the new Mazda 3's and the base model of those have 150, that's not even a sports car.

Quit being a tard.
I said 120 horsepower per liter, if you aren't familiar with common abbreviations and symbols. The 2.0 liter 4 cylinder in the first gen S2000 made 240hp, no nitrous, no blower. Stick that in a pipe and suck on it for a while. The Focus is what, a 2.0L as well, so it makes 85hp/L. How does that compare with the 120hp/L from the Honda?

Here's why some ppl buy Mustangs:
They're more comfortable (not sitting on the ground) They're easier to drive (less hp/tq) They're quieter, and you can fit more crap in them!
