Default New to restorations

I own a 66 Mustang, it is completely original with a 200 in it. I am going to install a new motor, tranny etc. I just cant get to my car since I am in Iraq. Do I need to buy new mounting brackets to install a 302 or 351? I have more questions to ask if anyone is willing to help me. I dont have much to work with and am having trouble finding manuals on the web.

How original is it?You might want to rethink changing the engine if the car would have any collector value.
Now that being said. Here's a link to help get you started.

BTW how did you get stuck in Iraq?Didn't you know they're shooting at each other over there?Keep your head down and be careful.
