I hate threads that ask "do I need gears?" or "do I need lifters?" when it should have the word new in the title, whenever I see posts like that from now on, I will post yes, you need that part to go....

+10000 Sandcracker21! People think because they have been on a forum for a while that everyone knows OR has seen all that they have. Someone asking a question is simple trying to get help! Does not matter if you have seen the question before.

They may be new to Mustangs?

new to forums?

new to this forum?

or just plain old not tech savey?

I was and still am VERY surprised by the number of people who seem to be not very nice people in general and have no desire to help others just because they have seen a question one or two times; or a hundred times for that matter. We only want help and want to give help.

Anyone else who wants to bash someone for asking a question or not being as smart as them or God forbid post something in the wrong section would be better off building there own forum site which they can complain 24/7 so they would not make new people or people in general feel bad on MF.

When I was brand new (still am new though) I hesitated many times about asking a question because I did not want someone to give me a hard time just for not knowing or asking. What a terrible way to feel as a new person just because a hand full of people want to ruin it for the majority.

How do you think that makes newbies feel??

There is this guy ( I wont say his name) but has been on MF a long time and has alot of post. A newbie posted a question in the wrong section; he replied to this new persons questions by saying " and why I did you post this in this section"???!!!!!"

He took the time to reply to let "A NEW PERSON" know that they made what I think was a very small mistake. This was this newbies second post at MF. they guy who replied did not offer any help to his problem or even advise on who to ask but decided it was better to make this guy feel bad about his post. All I could think was "what a jerk"

Rant over...........I'm sure there are some who must agree

This could have been posted nicely by saying...Attention Noobs...Please use the search feature before asking questions. It's likely that the question has been answered 50,000 times already.

Thats all. And this does belong in OT. But I can see it's going to turn into a flame war, so I'll just go ahead and locker 'er up.
