Default 2003 V6 3.8

hi! i just recently ordered an ASPEC cold air intake on EBAY for $45 and was wondering whether i would get the same results from a K&N product. haven't received the item, so should i get the K&N instead?

oh, i also have a question regarding the performance of my V6 3.8 2003 mustang. i noticed that when i accelerate, especially when shifting to second gear, the engine kind of vibrates(doesn't feel right). it also happens when i downshift to 2nd gear from DRIVE. haven't had a chance to get it diagnosed. any ideas would help tremendously.

thank you very much!

How many miles? It may be time for basic maintence, new spark plugs, check fuel injectors, change fuel filter, and that kind of stuff.

That CAI kit looks to be a little cheap, but at least it goes into the fenderwell. Don't expect to get much from it (or from a CAI at all, really), but because it is metal it will absorb all the heat from the engine bay, kind of defeating the purpose of a COLD air intake... my BBK CAI is the same way, except for almost 3x the price [:@]

hi! thanks a lot for the advice. i actually brought it to the shop yesterday and discovered that the front brakes and calipers needed to be replaced. spent $400+. the vibration, according to them was from the transmission mount which had to be replaced $300+. the intake will be arriving tomorrow. should i install it? thanks a lot for your time. i really appreciate it!
