yo doggy they all come in two pieces.

Do you think you could order a clutch and pressure plate pre-assembled?
So I can pretty much just plop it onto my tranny?
or is this a bad idea?

A friend and myself replaced the clutch in my '94 5.0 that I no longer have. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but my friend chipped a tooth and lost a crown from the drive shaft hitting him square in the mouth. All kits I've seen have a cheap plastic alignment tool that works, but we used the input shaft from an old T-5 to align it. I thinkit took us about 6 hours or so.

And being your down there. if you have a leaky rear main oil seal and if it's a one piece you might as well change that also.
Remove driveshaft, crossmember, exhaust, un plug wires going to exhaust and tranny before removing them.... Helps to have 2 people do this job under the car trust me.

You got that right!! Heck, I'd be half tempted to replace the rear main seal while I was there regardless if it was leaking. I'm sure you've got enough miles on it to warrant replacing it as a "pre-emptive" maintance measure. It be a bitch to do all this work, reassymble and half to tear down again to replace the seal. The other thing is if the seal leaks, sometimes you can ruin the clutch as oil gets on it from the leaking seal...so you'd half to replace the clutch again anyway!!

How about this?

What SHOULD I do while down there?

Here's what I'm ordering

Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kit(comes with pressure plate, clutch, and bearing)
Steeda Clutch Cable Kit(think thats the name for it)
Milwood Shatterproof Housing(think it was Milwood, it was M something...)
Clutch Fork(Tech guy said I would need this because the stock is too short or something)
Ford Motor Sports SFI Approved Flywheel

and you guys said replace the rear main seal, so ok ill do that

What else?

With the rear main oil Seal, makes sure you go to a ford dealership. probably have in stock and there 100% better then after market ones. Becareful putting it on, make sure teh guy at the dealership doesn't give you a rear oil seal for the Tranny. Just make sure it's for the motor. Good luck
