i was thinking about ordering the spec stage 3? what do you all think... i want the best clutch available- i plan on keeping my car for a long time and the stage 1 and 2 are not significantly cheaper... anyone have any thoughts on this clutch

 

ive never heard anything about them, but, my friend swears by RAM. they make Ford's HD/King Cobra clutches too, so, idk if thatll help you out, but, hes never had a problem w/ a RAM clutch setup in his cars. he had 2 built 5.0's and i dont kno if youre stock or not, but, if they can handle his hp/torque, im sure theyd be fine in your car unless youre pushing like 700-800 some odd hp, and even then, theyd probably be fine.

 

Centerforce dual friction clutches are among the best.

no they arent. they are overpriced, and you can pick them up at any auto parts store. def go with the spec

 

I run a King cobra Pressure plate with a MC leod Disc. Great for street driving and No problems racing either

 

Why all the hate nomo?
I run the king cobra in my car and i run in the mid 11's. not a problem.
My friend's car has the centerforce in his. His has a better clutch feel to it.
It will be my next choice.

no hate. centerforce is just over rated.

 

They are overpriced though.
But i've beat the crap out of it and it takes it.so that to me,speaks for itself.
I have not tried this spec setup.
