Default Problem w/ throttle

Whenever the gas pedal is pressed there is a rattling noise. The noise is present only when the pedal is depressed and only while the vehicle is in motion. Does anyone have any idea as to what it could be?

Hi how are you? Since you have to be driving and pushing the gas it seems to be related to engine load. You might be pinging or detonatng. That's caused by timing which is too far advanced. Anymore info might help. Does it sound like its in the front or rear of the car etc.?

Some more details on your car would be good. Is it stock, which engine, etc.

The car has aftermarket plugs, wires, headers, no cats, straigt pipes, CAI, performance tuner. The rattle sounds like it is coming from the drivers side of the engine, and is especially noticible if you throttle the car hard. Although when you look under the hood nothing seems to be loose, but the valves are not running as smooth as they should so i dont know if those are causing the rattle while driving.

Yes. It does it whenever the vehicle is in motion and the gas pedal is depressed.
