What is the the gross vehicle weight of a 1987 notch back and hatch back. I was wondering this becausre i have a hatch back that there is nothing wrong with sitting out back of my shop i am goin to build into a drag car and i payed $100 for and i was wondering if it would be worth it to buy a notch back for the diffrence in weight. Any help would be great because i have an opportunity to buy one for around 600 bucks.

 

If the hatch is a GT, then it weighs about 50lbs more than an LX hatch, and the LX hatch weighs about 60 lbs more than a notch.
