Default cooling

Ok, just installed the fan switch on my '01 GT. I located the switch on the shifter part of the center console. Now I can turn the fan on or off, whenever I want. The needle doesn't go as far now, so I guess it works. So now, I want to replace the thermostat. What temp and what is the part number for it? I want a cooler than factory stat and higher flow. Any suggestions?

Just go to any local parts store and pick up a 180ยบ thermostat.
Should be fine with that.

I thought of that, but then they'd probably give me a stat for a '90 corolla or something, that's also 180 degrees.
