I have a 05' V6 vert with the Shaker 500. I've had it for about 6 months and have had to have the brake switch replaced and a new battery installed. The dealer claimed that the battery draw was from the faulty brake switch?? We'll see if it holds up. I also have concerns about my speaker (driver door) rattling. The dealership said the speaker itself checked out OK. All I know is that it's annoying. My question is: does the stereo system light up at night with the lights on? I have a digital display lit but when driving at night I cannot see the preset buttons or the buttons that control the CD/changer. Can anybody help? Are they supposed to light up?

I am not familiar with your specific model, but I would bet a c note that all the lights on the deck are supposed to light up at night. And as far as the speaker rattleling around in your door, make them fix it. We have numerous dealers here in Tulsa that will sell you a car and never give speak to you again. I have had good luck in the past going to a rival dealer of the same brand and doing my warrenty work there. Dealers love to steal customers from each other. Dont give up, and if you dont like what one dealer says, go to another.

Hey I have the shaker 500 in my 07 gt and every button on the face of the deck lights up so definetly take it in and have them fix the whole thing speaker deck and all.
